delay: 300; \" >  \n    \n            \n        <h2 class=\"uk-h2  uk-margin-remove-top  content-section-title \">\n            D\u2019importantes p\u00e9nuries de comp\u00e9tences et de main-d\u2019\u0153uvre menacent la prosp\u00e9rit\u00e9 du Canada\n        <\/h2>\n            \n    \n\n        <div class=\"content-section-description uk-text-medium uk-column-1-2@m \">\n        <p>Dans des secteurs essentiels de notre \u00e9conomie \u2014 notamment les soins de sant\u00e9, l\u2019\u00e9ducation \u00e0 la petite enfance et plusieurs professions interm\u00e9diaires non r\u00e9glement\u00e9es \u2014 nous ne disposons pas d\u2019un nombre suffisant de personnes poss\u00e9dant les comp\u00e9tences et la formation n\u00e9cessaires pour r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 la demande croissante. \u00c0 partir des donn\u00e9es de Statistique Canada de 2023, le Laboratoire des donn\u00e9es sur les entreprises de la Chambre de commerce du Canada a indiqu\u00e9 que 68 % des employeurs consid\u00e9raient que leur main-d\u2019\u0153uvre n\u2019\u00e9tait pas \u00ab pleinement comp\u00e9tente en ce qui concerne les comp\u00e9tences n\u00e9cessaires pour accomplir leur travail actuel \u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Par ailleurs, selon une enqu\u00eate de la F\u00e9d\u00e9ration canadienne de l\u2019entreprise ind\u00e9pendante, 69 % des PME affirmaient que leur principal obstacle au recrutement \u00e9tait la raret\u00e9 de candidats qualifi\u00e9s. \u00c0 mesure que les postes demeurent vacants et que les inefficacit\u00e9s s\u2019accumulent, ces p\u00e9nuries contribuent \u00e0 l\u2019enjeu national plus large de la productivit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Des \u00e9carts de comp\u00e9tences existent dans l\u2019ensemble des secteurs et des niveaux de formation, mais ils sont particuli\u00e8rement marqu\u00e9s dans les professions techniques et professionnelles : les deux tiers des postes vacants au Canada exigeant une formation postsecondaire requi\u00e8rent des titres non universitaires, comme des dipl\u00f4mes d\u2019\u00e9tudes coll\u00e9giales ou des certifications de m\u00e9tiers.<\/p>\n<p>On observe notamment des p\u00e9nuries pour les \u00ab emplois n\u00e9cessitant des comp\u00e9tences sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9es, mais ne demandant pas un investissement important en temps ou en ressources pour la formation \u00bb, ainsi que pour les comp\u00e9tences techniques. Le gouvernement du Canada reconna\u00eet \u00e0 quel point il est essentiel d\u2019attirer et de retenir ces travailleuses et travailleurs (le Budget 2025 a introduit un cr\u00e9dit d\u2019imp\u00f4t temporaire pour les pr\u00e9pos\u00e9es et pr\u00e9pos\u00e9s au service de soutien personnel qui permet aux travailleurs de r\u00e9clamer un cr\u00e9dit correspondant \u00e0 5 % de leur salaire).<\/p>\n<p>Les PSSP repr\u00e9sentent un exemple concret de la crise d\u00e9coulant du manque de comp\u00e9tences techniques et professionnelles au Canada. Ces p\u00e9nuries de comp\u00e9tences co\u00fbtent cher aux gouvernements et entra\u00eenent des cons\u00e9quences n\u00e9gatives directes pour les Canadiens, notamment une baisse de la qualit\u00e9 des soins, des co\u00fbts plus \u00e9lev\u00e9s pour les services, ainsi que la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 pour les proches de fournir eux-m\u00eames des soins \u00e0 leurs \u00eatres chers.<\/p>\n<p>Cette p\u00e9nurie de comp\u00e9tences risque de s\u2019accentuer encore davantage car le Canada d\u00e9pend fortement des nouveaux arrivants pour pourvoir ces postes (environ 35 % des PSSP au Canada sont des personnes immigrantes). Le taux de f\u00e9condit\u00e9 total du Canada a diminu\u00e9 au cours des 15 derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, atteignant un creux de 1,25 enfant par femme en 2024,33 tandis que les personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es de 55 ans et plus repr\u00e9sentaient<br \/>\npr\u00e8s de 22 % de la population active la m\u00eame ann\u00e9e (comparativement \u00e0 seulement 12,6 % en 2000).<\/p>\n<p>Alors que le gouvernement du Canada souhaite r\u00e9duire l\u2019immigration globale, il augmente la proportion d\u2019immigrants \u00e9conomiques \u00e0 64 % de l\u2019ensemble des admissions, reconnaissant ainsi que l\u2019immigration demeure essentielle pour combler les besoins du march\u00e9 du travail.35 Cependant, le Canada n\u2019a pas seulement besoin de talents internationaux, il a besoin de talents internationaux poss\u00e9dant les comp\u00e9tences et les titres de comp\u00e9tences appropri\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Toutefois, il est trop souvent difficile pour les employeurs de recruter des talents internationaux. Plusieurs r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s ont \u00e9t\u00e9 embauch\u00e9s et ont pu immigrer gr\u00e2ce au Projet pilote sur la mobilit\u00e9 \u00e9conomique du Canada.<\/p>\n<p>Malgr\u00e9 la complexit\u00e9 de l\u2019initiative, Tri-County Mennonite Homes y a particip\u00e9, car l\u2019organisation conna\u00eet une croissance rapide et ne parvient pas \u00e0 recruter suffisamment de talents au Canada seulement.
